Site Gallery is thrilled to launch the Points of Rupture Sample Pack and Artist Tracks, a limited edition comprising 70+ loops/samples and three original sound works commissioned by Site Gallery. The pack was built by Phoebe Davies alongside sound artist and DJs Joseph Bond and Marie Malarie (Maria Swiecicka), with three new sound works from the artists.

All sound works were developed in response to Points of Rupture, Davies’ solo exhibition at Site Gallery. They explore exhaustion with a focus on body based physicality and repetitive exercise as a management tool for mental health through loops and sampling. All field recordings and sounds were collected and sourced across varying locations from gyms and hospitals to domestic spaces and archives.

A sample pack is a collection of sounds consisting of loops and one-shots designed for producers and composers to use as building blocks in their music and sound production.
This edition was commissioned by Site Gallery and funded by Jerwood New Work Fund from Jerwood Arts and the PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music fund.

This is a physical edition of 50 + 8 APs and comes with a designed USB, certificate and further information about the artists and associated exhibition.
